In today's installment of "Northanger Abbey", Catherine hopes to see Mr. Tilney around Bath, especially on Sunday, when  "Bath empties every house of its inhabitants, and all the world appears on such an occasion to walk about and tell their acquaintance what a charming day it is" -- but no such luck for the young heroine. She does, however, "taste the sweets of friendship" with Isabella Thorpe, as Mrs. Allen does with Mrs. Thorpe. But where has Mr. Tilney gone??
