In my 71st year, my physical heart, fortunately, is in fairly good shape, but my real heart – the heart of my soul and spirit – feels like it’s in perfectshape. And why shouldn’t it, since it’s formed fresh and new each moment, with hearty and healthy thoughts constantly arising and speaking their truths and stepping aside for new ones? My life -- my seemingly small presence in a small seacoast town -- is actually part of the boundless life let loose on the universe billions of years ago when “the big bang” broke everything open, and my spirit is still soaring and intensifying after all these years. My soul at 71 is just what it, and each of ours, has always been – a mighty force finding freshness in new and limitless ways.
